John D. Niedziałek

John D. Niedziałek is a retired Special Agent (SA) with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) with over 27 years of federal law enforcement service. He was born and raised in the Republic of Panama, is a fluent Spanish speaker, and a graduate of Florida State University with a bachelor’s degree in International Affairs.

John served as a DEA Special Agent and senior level manager in Puerto Rico; Guatemala; Dominican Republic; Mexico, and Canada, with extended assignments in Curacao; Saint Maarten, and Suriname. In each location, he led complex investigations and operations targeting transnational criminal organizations affecting the stability and safety of the U.S. and its allies.

John also served as an Inspector in the DEA’s Office of Professional Responsibility (Internal Affairs). In this capacity, he oversaw and managed sensitive internal investigations of corruption, extortion, security violations, professional misconduct, throughout the Southeastern United States, the Caribbean, and Latin America.

Prior to retiring in 2021, John served as a DEA Liaison Officer to the United States Central Command (USCENTCOM) located in Tampa, Florida. Special focus was placed on the Middle East involving Afghanistan, Kazakhstan, Bahrain, Jordan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Egypt, and Syria. His responsibilities included combining DEA assets, intelligence, and networks of source information with US military operations and activities with allies to increase regional security and stability in support of US interests.

John currently serves as a consultant with special expertise in performing investigations and providing executive protection services in the international arena including areas of high risk and crime. In addition, he maintains a robust network of contacts and sources, throughout Latin America, who can assist in discreetly resolving high-level conflicts/issues as well as securing protection for a variety of clients.
