Paul K. Craine

Paul K. Craine is President and a founding partner of Synergistic Strategic Solutions (SSS), where he leads the firm in providing highly targeted strategic advisory and operational support to clients facing complex, high-risk, and time-sensitive challenges. Together with his partners, Mr. Craine has advised a broad portfolio of U.S. domestic and international clients, delivering discreet support services, sensitive investigations, and crisis-driven solutions at the highest levels.

Mr. Craine is a recognized authority on transnational organized crime, illicit finance, and crisis management, with more than 35 years of experience directing and executing complex global investigations and operations. His distinguished public service career includes 27 years as a Special Agent with the U.S. Department of Justice, Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). During this time, he held key international assignments in Bogotá, Colombia, and Mexico City, Mexico, and in 2012 was appointed to the Department of Justice Senior Executive Service. He subsequently served as the DEA Regional Director for North and Central America, based at the U.S. Embassy in Mexico, where he oversaw multinational enforcement, intelligence, and security initiatives across the region.

Throughout his DEA career, Mr. Craine led and supervised complex international investigations resulting in the apprehension and extradition of some of the world's most dangerous transnational criminals and fugitives. His operational experience spans some of the most challenging environments globally, including sustained work in hostile and austere locations in Latin America, Central Asia, and other high-risk regions.

Mr. Craine has received numerous prestigious awards and commendations in recognition of his service and leadership, including the U.S. Attorney General's Award for Investigative Excellence, the DEA Award of Honor and Distinguished Service, and the National Association of Police Officers 'Top Cop' Award. The latter included formal recognition at a White House ceremony led by President Barack Obama and Vice President Joseph R. Biden.

In addition to his operational leadership, Mr. Craine has testified before the U.S. Congress as an expert on transnational organized crime and has served as a featured speaker and presenter at international law enforcement conferences, as well as senior-level police and security forums worldwide.
